| Hello, and welcome back! After lots of consideration, I decided this is what I decided to name my characters. Vivienne, A.K.A Viv, also formerly known as "A" is meant to represent a lively and almost brattish girl. She is immature and naive about herself and the real world, hence why her name, which means "life" suits her. While her friend, Blair is the complete opposite. Since we know she later dies in the opening I found it very fitting that her name reflects her role in the story. Blair's main objective is to teach Viv about self-exploration and her own identity. While also teaching herself about letting go, moving on, and acceptance. Basically, her death will set Viv and her's journey into motion where Viv must learn to be her own person and learn about the pros and cons of highschool on her own. While Blair learns to come to terms with her death and take care of any unfinished business she has before she passes on. Blair will learn to lean on others to help her instead of bottling up her emotions and putting on a brave face. Viv will have to learn how to navigate her new found freedom, while also being tied to the grief of her some-what-dead best friend. Blair will teach Viv the importance of life and that nothing should be taken for granted because time is precious, no matter how annoying or upsetting the present may be. Anywho, enough about that let's talk about Viv and Blair. Viv and Blair are childhood bestfriends that have stuck together through thick and thin. They met in the first grade at the playground and that has been "their spot" ever since. Viv is a teenage girl going into highschool, she is very eccentric and upfront. She likes bright colors and cute clothes and probably cares too much about her appearance. She tries to make herself stand out from others because she thinks that if she doesn't act and look like everyone else, than people will pay attention to her and what she has to say. While she tries to present herself as more mature, her frequent use of profanity and loud personality comes off as more obnoxious and childish. Though, she is admittedly care-free. She does what she wants, says what she wants, and acts how she wants because in her mind, when you're older you can do anything you want to. Though she later learns that actions have consequences as her life becomes much more complicated. Moodboard: https://pin.it/6P4MYcGAK Blair on the other hand is Viv's complete opposite. Blair has always been seen as mature and reasonable, she likes darker tones and clothes from the 2000s, though she usually leans to the more conservative side with her style. Blair is more quiet and observant than Viv, she thinks carefully before making decisions and is never able to relax when she's alone. Blair hardly uses harsh language or raises her voice because she thinks it's useless to try and fight fire with fire rather than pouring water on it. Blair admires Viv's spontaneity and carefree attitude, because sometimes it gets tiring overthinking all the time.
